LARRY KRULL, PRESIDENT/CEO
A man of humble beginnings, Larry hails from Blue Mound, Kansas and has called Lawrence his home since 1985. His goal is to give back to the community by providing quality and affordable Drivers Education to everyone. He has driven thousands of students and is now enjoying the loyalty of second and third generations of students who bring their children, siblings and grandchildren to our school.
He received an Associate of Arts Degree from Fort Scott Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Pittsburg State University. He taught Psychology, Industrial Arts, Personal Community Health, Physical Education and Drivers Education. He also coached from 1968 to 1984. He still actively coaches and plays Senior Softball and participates in tournaments all over the country representing Eastern Kansas. The owner of the Midwest Driving School, Larry instilled in his family the value of service through Drivers Education. To date, three generations of the Krull family are involved in the operation of the Driving School: husband and wife Larry and Joyce, two sons Steve and Mike Krull, and two grandsons Cameron and Wesley Krull.

JOYCELIN T. KRULL

STEVE KRULL
Serving students in the Johnson County area, Steve is the longest serving Senior Instructor of the Midwest Driving School. Helping out his father since 1995, Steve is one of the most sought after instructors due to his patience, soft words and diligence to his students. He attended Fort Scott Community College and Pittsburg State University.
Grandfather to Kia and Kobe, his goal is to instill the same safety habits to his students in Drivers Education as he would for his own grandchildren.

MICHAEL KRULL
Coach Mike, as he is known to everyone, has taught in the Public Schools since 1991 and has taught Drivers Education since 1995. He has regularly been with the Midwest Driving School helping his father since 2013.
He has an Associates of Applied Science from Fort Scott Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Pittsburg State University. The youngest second generation Krull, Mike has served on active duty in the Air Force for 3 years and 17 years in the Kansas Air National Guard.

JOHNNY BEANE
Coming from North Carolina with a degree in Criminology, Johnny spent nearly 17 years in law enforcement. The past few years was spent as the Chief of Police. He was a lead instructor with NCTDTS through the NC State Community College System and taught all classroom materials and drove with students on the streets and highways. Students were taught rules, regulations and safety.
A senior classroom and driving instructor, Johnny says that compassion and understanding are two integral parts of being an instructor. It is a joy to watch each student start by working through fear and lack of confidence and, by the end, they understand and perform efficiently.

TED ZUZZIO
This amiable retired teacher and a well respected coach is from Baldwin City, Kansas. He has 38 years of Drivers Education experience. His affiliation with Midwest goes years back to when the young Ted Zuzzio did student teaching for then teacher Larry Krull in Girard, Kansas. Seeing his students become good, safe drivers, has the same gratification for Ted as when he was winning State Championships for Baldwin High School.
